Peyton attended the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor with an advance certification in Environmental and Natural Resource Law. While in law school, Peyton worked in the Student Law Office’s environmental clinic and served on the Water Law Review. She participated in student organizations as the President of the Women’s Legal Coalition and the Secretary of the Law Outdoor Club. Peyton grew up in central Indiana and attended Indiana University, where she graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Criminal Justice.
During her free time, Peyton likes to travel, scrapbook, and spend time outdoors with her family, friends, and dachshund.
